Therasomal Vitamin C

I spoke last week about a new super form of vitamin C called Therasomal Vitamin C. This vitamin C is produced using what is called "liposomal nanotechnology". Basically,this means that the vitamin C molecule is encapsulated in a bubble of fat(liposome) that has the same membrane chemistry of human cells. The effect is such that when these vitamin C loaded mini balloons come in contact with your cells,the 2 membranes merge like 2 soap bubbles coming together. The vitamin C from the liposome is delivered to your cells as efficiently as getting it I.V.

Vitamin C is one of the body's primary antioxidants/antimicrobials,protecting us from viral infections,yeast overgrowth and the oxidation that causes cataracts an wrinkles. Vitamin C also helps keep blood pressure and cholesterol under control. The problem with most consumer vitamin C is that there is a limit to what can be absorbed through your stomach. When I was at the Tahoma Clinic with Dr Jonathan Wright,we overcame that by giving vitamin C by I.V. This was standard treatment for colds,flu, seasonal allergies and even hives as vitamin C has an antihistamine effect.

Another very desirable effect of vitamin C is its ability to promote collagen formation. Collagen is similar to the struts that smooth out the skin of an umbrella when it is opened. Collagen performs a similar function in skin,cartilage,bone and blood vessels. I used to dispense a cosmetic grade vitamin C called Cellex C. It worked well,but was a bit expensive at $90/bottle. High end department stores also carry brands costing around $100. The Therasomal C works better than anything I've come across and is only $40/bottle. It can be taken orally under the tongue or used topically as a cosmetic. I mix it with Touch My Face Serum and a bit of EcoThyro applied to my skin at night. Thyroid hormone also promotes collagen growth.
